The brief…
July 2025 - August 2025 | Short Agency role | 8 weeks
Founded by Allie Johns, Senior Lecturer, and funded by the Manchester Metropolitan University. A social media content team of three students, Margarida, Thashfa, and Duy Anh (Zayn) was recruited to help build awareness for international prospects within the Marketing, International Business Management and Tourism (MIBT) department.
MIBT noticed a decline in reach and engagement across their social channels. Our job as Social Media Content Creators was to identify content gaps, key competitors in the MIBT space, and create valuable content for potential international Postgraduate prospects residing in Vietnam, India and Pakistan.
As well as curating an all-encompassing digital marketing strategy to upload content before, during and after Open and Recruitment days.
Although the campaign was acquisition-based, the team provided a customer journey, content calendar, and a variety of content and insights to keep in mind when reaching out to international students.
